Horizontal Cabling

Installation of the following cabling categories to a high-level industry standard. Many of our installations involve government departments so are subject to 3rd party independent audits by RCDD qualified designers/auditors.

Category 6/6A/7/7A solutions
Inclusive of all cable tray installations relating to and meeting the above cabling category’s with regards bend radius and fill ratios
Wall frame solutions, inclusive of hub-tail/switch tie looming, termination and testing
All testing to industry standards using latest Fluke testing equipment

Backbone Cabling

Fibre:

Installation of the following internal and external rated backbone connectivity both fibre and copper.

All multimode and Single mode fibre installs. (OM1,2,3,4 / OS1,2)
Internal riser fibre installations throughout buildings/campus locations both in active and construction environments.
External fibre installations through Pit and pipe/trough networks campus wide
Internal rated cabling to external rated cabling transition points are widely requested on campus projects where the external fibre is required to be transitioned to internal by means of inline splice in a suitable enclosure at a building entrance facility to meet building code
Labelling of said fibres to various specifications at either end and on occasion along its entirety
All testing to industry standards using latest Fluke testing equipment, both LSPM (Light Source Power Meter) and OTDR (Optical Time-Domain reflectometer)

Copper:

Installation of the following internal and external rated backbone connectivity both fibre and copper.

All internal and external rated multipair copper (10 pair to multiple 100 pair)
Internal copper links from MDF locations to multiple voice patch panel configurations for DECT/Voice solutions
Internal voice links from back mount to back mount frame terminated on 10 pair disconnect modules.
Complete understanding of lightning/surge protection requirements on inter-building voice cabling.
Internal riser fibre installations throughout buildings/campus locations both active and construction.
External fibre installations through Pit and pipe/trough networks campus wide
As with the fibre Internal rated cabling to external rated cabling transition points are widely requested on projects. NCH has many solutions available for this and can accommodate all client’s requirements/preferences.
